About John Michalak

An author, speaker, and podcaster, John Michalak has spent over 25 years equipping others in the areas of spiritual life-change and authentic relationship.

John recently served as Senior Pastor at Union Christian Church in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Prior to this, he led Men Of Valor’s Jericho Project in Nashville, Tennessee, a prison ministry that seeks to restore men and families to God and society. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University Of Washington, and a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

John’s best-selling book, 365 Devotions To Embrace What Matters Most, is available from Zondervan publishing. His Embrace What Matters Podcast has been released on all popular platforms. John currently writes a regular religion column for The Mountaineer and is releasing a new book in 2022, UNTO LIFE: Reflections on Both the Journey and the Destination.
