The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)
John Michalak, September 12, 2006Part of the God's Chat Room series, preached at a Weekend Services service
A detailed examination of God's "rules" for communicating with him through prayer. Most of us focus just on ourselves and our needs in prayer. But, the Lord's Prayer is truly about God, and it is only by focusing on God's greatness, his closeness, his kingdom, his will, his power to provide, to forgive, and to save, that we can truly find all our prayer's answered.

Matthew 6:9-13
9 Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. (ESV)
